Fonesca Fitness will be holding a summit at Hampshire Court Hotel on March 8 to educate and empower women by starting conversations about menopause, hormones, health and wellbeing.
The day will include eight 45-minute talks, by authors, mentors, coaches and a GP to ‘cover all aspects of women’s health.’
Farah Fonesca, founder of Fonesca Fitness, said: “For the last 4 years we’ve found a massive gap in the education market with the women who are coming in to speak and train with us.

“Especially as our demographic are over 35, just always having the same issues and questions in regard to their health. The same questions kept coming up so we created a one-day summit to help get more clarity and confidence.”
Talks will cover building confidence, preparing for peri-menopause, the use of GLP, fertility, losing weight over 35, skincare from a whole-body perspective, joint pain and a GP’s guide to hormones and menopause.
The first talk, from author and mentor Trudy Simmons covers building confidence back up and moving with purpose.
Farah will be guiding women through two talks, around the use of GLP alongside training, nutrition and long-term health implication, and a discussion about fat loss over 35 and how to set up for long term success.
Trainers Milly Richardson and Arabella Jno-Lewis will be delving into preparing for perimenopause in your 30s and joint pain in women over 35, including how to protect bodies to move longer.

Farah continued: “There’s so many conversations that we’re not having as women, we try to make sure we covered as many different options and areas as possible.
“We put pressure on ourselves, it all falls down to us, if things aren’t working properly it’s all to do with me. Societal pressures are real, we are just trying to bring the education and sit in a room with other women to say it’s okay, we’re all feeling the same.”
Functional skin practitioner and founder of The Facialist Hampshire, Lauren Boylan will be teaching about skincare and understanding the body from a bigger perspective, also looking specifically about acne, PCOS and endometriosis.

All speakers will be available for a Q&A at the end of the day and the ticket includes a lunch from Hampshire Court Hotel.
