A fitness and wellbeing initiative for women is launching in Exmouth.

Founded by Shelly Stammers, the Cockles On The Move club will offer activities ranging from Walk Fit sessions to yoga by the sea.

Walk Fit, Running Club, and Silent Disco Fitness sessions are all part of the scheme.

The club will meet at Exmouth RFC and will host Tuesday night runs.

Each participant in these runs will contribute £1 to the local mental health charity, Open Door Exmouth.

Local businesses Pyramid Health, Totaltee Ltd, and The Tan Room Exmouth have pledged their support to the launch.

Shelly has a wealth of experience in community fitness and wellbeing.

She has founded the successful Tri-Hards Community Fitness Project and raised more than £55,000 for local charities.

Her efforts have earned her accolades, including the Pride of Devon Community Sport and Stagecoach South West Community Champion awards.

For more information, find the club on Facebook.
