My American friends, did you know there’s a federal holiday coming up? (No, I’m not talking about Valentine’s Day.) I, for one, did not—until I realized that some of the biggest running retailers are quietly throwing ambiguous “mid-winter” sales right now.
These sales are, theoretically, in honor of Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 16. One thing this holiday is good for, in addition to maybe having the day off from work, is scoring great deals on top-notch running shoes during an interminable time of year when almost nothing goes on sale.
